8. Constrict

To make something tighter or smaller; squeeze or shrink.

The snake constricted around the branch like it was auditioning for yoga class.

9. Nebulous

Not clear, cloudy, or vague; hazy.

His excuse for missing homework was so nebulous that even he forgot what he said.

10. Buttress

Something that supports or strengthens; a support.
