Story
A crow was very thirsty and desperately wanted to drink some water.
It flew from place to place in search of water but found nothing. At last, it spotted a jar in a garden.
There was water inside the jar, but it was sitting at the very bottom and was completely out of the crow's reach. The crow tried to turn the jar over again and again, but it had no effect.
Just as the crow was about to give up and leave in despair, it noticed a heap of pebbles lying nearby. Then, it hit upon a clever plan.
The crow picked up pebbles one by one and dropped them into the jar. As each pebble sank to the bottom, the water in the jar rose up little by little.
When the water finally reached the mouth of the jar, the crow drank freely and quenched its thirst.

একটি কাক খুব তৃষ্ণার্ত ছিল এবং মরিয়া হয়ে কিছু পানি পান করতে চাইছিল।
সে পানির সন্ধানে এক জায়গা থেকে আরেক জায়গায় উড়ে বেড়াল, কিন্তু কিছুই পেল না। অবশেষে একটি বাগানে একটি কলস দেখতে পেল।
কলসের ভেতরে পানি ছিল, কিন্তু সেটি একেবারে তলায় জমে ছিল এবং কাকের নাগালের বাইরে ছিল। কাক বারবার কলসটি উল্টে ফেলার চেষ্টা করল, কিন্তু কোনো কাজ হলো না।
ঠিক যখন কাক হাল ছেড়ে দিয়ে হতাশ মনে চলে যেতে উদ্যত হলো, তখন সে কাছেই পাথরের একটি স্তূপ দেখতে পেল। তারপর তার মাথায় একটি চমৎকার বুদ্ধি এলো।
কাক একটি একটি করে পাথর তুলে কলসের মধ্যে ফেলতে লাগল। প্রতিটি পাথর তলায় ডুবে যাওয়ার সাথে সাথে কলসের পানি একটু একটু করে উপরে উঠতে লাগল।
পানি যখন অবশেষে কলসের মুখ পর্যন্ত উঠে এলো, কাক মনের আনন্দে পানি পান করল এবং তার তৃষ্ণা মিটল।
Moral: Where there is a will, there is a way.
ইচ্ছা থাকলে উপায় হয়।
