Untenable মানে এমন কোনো অবস্থান বা যুক্তি যা চাপের মুখে টিকে থাকতে পারে না।
"Untenable position" -- এই collocation সংবাদমাধ্যমে প্রচুর দেখা যায়, বিশেষত রাজনীতিবিদ বা কর্পোরেট নেতা যখন পদত্যাগের কাছাকাছি।
মনে রাখার সহজ উপায়: "আন + টেন (ten) + এবল = দশজন টানলেও টিকবে না।"
