🚀 Life Update from Adaan - Columbia University Acceptance and IELTS Score

Hello Adaanists!

Hope you are doing well. I have been accepted into Columbia University, one of the 8 Ivy league universities in the US, and one of the best universities in the world.

After studying BBA for 3 years at IBA DU, I moved into New York city. At Columbia, I will start my undergraduate studies in Economics. My tuition at Columbia will be covered by the financial aid I was awarded.

I loved every single moment at IBA. After every class, I used to run to Shadow (you will eventually know what it is) to just have a cup of tea. I think Shadow has the best milk tea in the entire DU campus.

I have never seen such a supportive group of faculty members. IBA faculties are not only one of the best in the country but also one of the sweetest and nicest human beings I have ever encountered. Loved all of them!

I did’t take the SAT. However, since my high school’s medium of instruction was Bangla, I had to take the IELTS. I have scored an overall 8 out of 9 in the IELTS without prep.

In the upcoming days, I am aiming to make content on IELTS and US university applications, including how to write amazing college essays along with our regular IBA/BUP content.
